Gavin Green: 1968 Pontiac Firebird

Gavin started racing a 1973 HQ in Super Street in 1993. In 2009 he progressed to a small block powered 1968 Monaro in Super Sedan. 2012 saw the engine replaced with a 632 cubic inch big block Chev and a move to A/TS. Gavin was successful with this combination winning the 2014/15 IHRA and NZDRA championships, followed by the 2015/16 NZDRA championship. 2018 saw the debut of his current ride, a G Force 1968 Pontiac Firebird in Top Doorslammer.
Gavin is currently the quickest, supercharged, Top Doorslammer in New Zealand with a 6.076 second pass.
